Guest question - is wearing a long dress acceptable?

Blairwitch, 6 May, 2011 at 11:02 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hi all

Long time no posting on here but having a quandry with myself. I'm going to an outdoor highland wedding in a couple of weeks and have a gorgeous long tall sally dress in the wardrobe I would like to wear but its long. Its navy blue with large flower print all over it but I'm having a wibble about people thinking why is she in a long dress. Its been years since I was at a wedding - can I wear it and not feel self conscious?

I wouldn't mind if someone wore a long dress to my wedding.

Its definatly acceptable, plus better a long dress than a knicker skimmer!!! I saw far too much of one guest at my sons christening!
