All you can do is hope the split up b4 the wedding! Otherwise tuff t!ts, you will both have to put up with her presence....

WSS. I'm afraid you're gonna have to suck it up and invite her! And pray they split up! Sit her as far away from you as possible, and if seat available.. next to the boring uncle! mwahahahahah!!

I agree. In the event they dont split up, sit her next to someone really boring/ messy/loud eater ( I could lend you my grandad!), and start to put together a subtle plan that will put her off coming, like making sure shes aware the best man will be busy all day and she will know no-one. (god, I dont know where all this cattiness is coming from)

Does she know many people other than (obv) the best man? If not, why don't you stress the fact that best man will be on top table and she will have to sit amongst strangers on her own and you wouldn't want her to feel uncomfortable so of course you wouldn't be offended if she decided to only come to the evening, or even better, not at all ?

Thanks guys for your help, if we have to invite her, she wont know anyone there apart from h2b and his family (best man is his brother making it so much more difficult to puit my foot down!) and i can find an awkward guest to put her with lol. its just that she has been so rude to my inlaws to be, h2b, myself and my mum that i just have this awful feeling she will try and manipulate the day so it will be all about her and not us. in the past she has sat and glared and smirked at me whilst i've been eating because i'm bigger than she is!!!! and i dont want to have to feel uncomfortable on our big day.

She sounds vile. Can you get h2b to have a word with his brother or would that just cause more trouble?

Oh goodness, she doesnt sound very nice and I can understand why you (and family) dont want her there. Can you not send her an invite but with the wrong venue on...? ? .... or something equally devious...?

    * goes away to hatch plan..*

Hmm. I think the important thing is that it is your day. Just get her on a table nowhere near you and make someone - someone friendly from h2b's family? - responsible for sitting on her. It is difficult, but you will look so radiant and gorgeous she won't be able to take attention off you anyway.
