What do you do with them when on machines - do you just hold them, use an armband? Also the little ear phones fall out of my ears can you get over the head types one that would fit into an iphone?

Thanks muchos

There are small shelves on the machines at my gym where I can put my iPod although I do have an arm band but usually end up getting tied up with the cable!

The cost of buying an ipod shuffle was only about a fiver more than a half decent armband for my big ipod, so I just bought one of those instead - it has a built in clip and I just transfer what I need from itunes.

For good sports headphones, have a look for the Sennheiser OMX range. I use these

Plenty of good prices at Amazon etc.

I have an ipod shuffle so just clip it to my top. Don't have any probs with the earphones but a friend has and she uses special ones that are mouldable and they sit firmly in her ears.

I have a nano somewhere - god knows where though but it might be worth searching for it then as it's much smaller/lighter than the phone? I hadn't thought of that thanks.

Re the shelf - I could probably do that but on the treadmill I haven't quite mastered jogging pathetically running in the one place so I'd probably keep pulling it off ?

    Thanks

I hold my MP3 in my hand when road or treadmill running - I'm always flicking through the tracks anyway so I need easy access! I stick it in the waistband of my bottoms when I'm on the machines at the gym.

Thats the ones I have and I hate them. They stay over my ear but never stay in the ear so i have to keep popping them back in or just turn up the volume.
