Had a bit of a weddingy night last night.

Alex had a dress trying on session round at Grandma's house so Grandma's and Groom's Mum could get a preview of the dress. Glad we did as it took AGES to sort out how to lace the back up - they're not easy are they? Even with instructions off the internet LOL, it took two or three goes! Another thing that puzzles me.... what's the correct way to thread the bone thingys into the slots in the petticoat? I thought the lady in the shop said they clipped together but there aren't any clips on the ends. It just seems to slot through but kept poking out of the slots.

Anyone any tips on this? Much appreciated - a confused.com Mum !!!

I always thought there was a little 'pocket' at the bottom of the boning slot to stop it slipping out. I think a call to the bridal shop would be in order.

Glad you had a lovely time B, it's getting very exciting for you now x
