Hair

Hi Everyone.

I had my own hairdresser come in last night and style my hair with an updo that I though would work with my dress. Unfortunately I didn't like it ,not because I didn't like the style but it just wasn't me and it looked too harsh. but its mostly from the front that is the problem ,tried with a sweeping fringe which I just don't suit , no fringe didn't work at all, then just a little hair curled down each side of my face to help shape it, the latter being better but I still not right because it still looked too harsh, with so much hair pulled back of my face so it's get a new shaped face or back to the drawing board ☹️

I'm beginning to think I need to find a style where my hair will be loose (curled/wavy) and mostly down although not sure it will work with my dress.

My hair bra strap length and I need hair around my face to soften the look and nothing that sits too high.

Anyone have any flashy suggestions ?

    Hi Minimorecambe.

    Thanks for the suggestions

The blonde one isn't for me at all but the last pic is a little different from what I've seen already and I can see how a nice comb would work with that style.

Sdurn - your pic isn't showing.

    Any more suggestions ??

I was going to suggest something along the lines of minimorecambs pictures.

Keeping an up do but having it a bit looser/messy sort of look. Try the look just by doing your hair without using a comb and you'll get a bit of an idea what it might look like (obviously your hairdresser will use a comb on the day!)

Thanks DM-2-B, I never really do anything much in the way of styling my hair which is why I'm struggling and need inspiration.
