Hair advice needed!

Am thinking of having a fringe cut into my hair when i get it cut next, but am not sure what sort to go for. I currently have dark shoulder length, layered hair of average thickness and is straight. I have a rather round (moon like apparently!) face and wear glasses so i'm not too sure what would suit me best. I've had side sweepy ones before and liked so may go for that again, but thought i would ask here first as you guys usually give great advice!! If not i'll just have to trust my haridresser - eek!
