Hi,

can anyone recommend someone really good for hair and make-up who covers the North West? I'd like someone who does both and really wanted to book Sarah Louise Elliott as really liked her portfolio but she's already booked! I also tried to book Nina Wren but I e-mailed her quite a few weeks ago and she hasn't come back to me. The wedding isn't until July 2010, I thought I'd be booking too early but seems not! Sarah Louise did recommend a couple of people but one I didn't feel inspired by the pictures on the site and the other one doesn't have a website so thought I'd see if anyone else has any recommendations. I'm on the Wirral. I don't mind paying a bit more for travel costs if someone's a little out of the area

Hi Wendy, I use a fantastic 2-girl team for my Boudoir Make-overs, Sam and Mandi, if you email me from my site (see below) i'll send you some images of their recent work and let you know their contact details, they travel all over doing Brides, and model assignments so the Wirral would be no problem for them. They also have more than 16 years experience so really know their stuff!

ps - shame about Nina - I've worked with her loads and she's lovely! Know she's probably about to have another baby so may be out of the loop?

Hi, thanks everyone for the replies. I'm on the Wirral and the wedding is in Thornton Hough where me and my bridesmaids are staying the night before. Nicola, I'll drop you a line via your site. Thanks for the recommendations

WendyQ I am looking at booking Kathryn on www.makeupbykathryn.com as she lives just by Thornton Hough (I'm getting married in Thornton manor). Her prices are good and the hair she has on the website looks good too if you want her for hair as well.

I used Kathryn www.makeupbykathryn.com and she was great, although I did my own make-up in the end (I really got into playing around with stuff) Kathryn still came out to do my hair and my BM hair and she was so lovely on the day, she's really laid back and friendly, a very calming influence!
