I've just had my trial today along with my 2 bridesmaids and my mum and we paid £390 for trial and wedding day makeup together. It is well worth it the lady doing ours did a fantastic job , I'm very pleased.

I charge £70 practice plus £70 on the wedding day for a bride.

£50 practice and £50 on the wedding day for BM's etc and £50 for BM's on the day without a previous practice.

My prices reflect my experience - i have been a makeup artist for 11 years and have worked on over 800 weddings. You do get what you pay for with hair and makeup artists.

I'm getting quotes at the minute. I have only contacted professional makeup artists at the minute and they are coming out at around £350-£450 for me, mum and 4 bridesmaids, not including trials. Way out of my price range so my options are to either try and get someone thats training, or does it on the side, or do my makeup myself. But it depends how confident you are on doing your own! You can do courses for around £80-100 to teach you how to put it on properly.

Someone said to me if you go to the makeup counters at Debenhams, House of Fraser etc some of the girls there may do wedding makeup. Worth a try I guess. Plus they might be cheaper (but obviously not as good) as the professionals.

I'm undecided at the min about what to do. I just think £350 could get me sooooo many nice products!

I am paying £155 which includes consultation and trial for hair-make-up, insurance and hair and make-up on the wedding day.

I am using Natasha Quinton and her details can be found here. https://www.watchshopping.com/watch-guide/best-wedding-watches-for-the-bride-and-groom/ Juliet price looks to be in this range. I hope this helps.
