Hair and makeup

Hi

I am planing to get my hair and make up done for my wedding. Do you normally have hair or make up done first?? Smiley smile

I am trying to keep costs down, so was thinking of getting my hair done at a salon and makeup at the venue where I am getting ready. Has anyone else done this, how did it go? this way hair seems to be about £50 including a trial and makeup well from £45 to £200!!

    Hi,

    You get your hair done first then your makeup.

    It's quite normal for the bride to go to the salon to get their hair done and then to either go home or to the venue to get their makeup done. It works no problem but just make sure you have plenty of time for the hairdressers. In my experience it normally takes alot longer than expected at the hairdressers and so the bride is running slightly late.
