I am having the same dilemma tfmc. I have a sparkly tiara and think a sparkly clip might look too much. I found a picture with hair half up but she doesn't have a clip in.......I will try to find it now and post it.

I got this on an email the other day, there are lots of hair ideas, maybe there's a clip that would suit your 'do'?

I just got my hair trial on Saturday and the girl just used 2 (yes 2) kirby grips to hold my hair back.

    Hello

I'm not a bride, but a HIB & I also have my hair "put up" fairly regularly for different do's etc. I understand what you are saying. I think you could either have nothing at all, or if you do want something you can have a few pins or a clip/slide.

I know the pin above is a large one, but you can easily have a single headed pearl or crystal too.

    Hope this helps

    K

    Beautiful hair Gill.

Hair dresser did well to only use two. Mine isn't as curly as your's but just has a mind of it's own. So i'm a bit worried.

I havnt had the trial. the lady who was supposed to be doing it had a trial with somebody else the week beofre who also wanted my date and she booked at her trial, which tbh i was a little bit annoyed about because if you already have somebody booked in who provisionally wants that date then why would you take more bookings.

    hows things

Oh no, that's terrible. Maybe you're better off without her, she doesn't sound very reliable! Hope you find someone else soon. Perhaps your nephews girlfriend might be able to do something for you. Fingers crossed!

I wouldn't have a clip at the back as well as a tiara, but if you wanted to you could just add some diamante pins or twist in crystals to add a little bit of sparkle.
