hair (possibly stupid question)

jen-lou, 6 November, 2014 at 20:06 Posted on Planning 0 18

I'm looking into hair accessories, and here's my question, does it depend on how you are having your hair as to what type of accessory you have, I mean are some more suites to upside over hair out?

Also, how did you decide on what you went with?

Jen-Lou, I'm going for a similar style to the bottom pictures and I've got a Jenny Packham hair vine to subtlety weave through to add a little sparkle.

Ohhh I didn't know about hair vines I will have a look at them.

There is already so much to look at don't know how I will narrow it down. Think I want something simple with a little sparkle, no pearls, my mum would disown me! Ha ?

Our hairdresser was amazing, and creative, she took W's hair band and bent it so it sat differently on her head ...

(this isn't a very nice picture - but surprisingly, I've just had a look through very single guest picture and they are all of her from the other side so you can't see the band! We don't have the tog pics yet)

Is this what you mean by hair vines?

If so - 'Thehoneycomb' shop on etsy has loads of beautiful ones!

Oh my, SW, just looked at that etsy site and LOVE the bits on there!! I have a Tiara thingy from Debenhams as I had previously thought that with boring bobbed hair, my choices would be restricted.

However, a bit of research and a chat with my hairdresser and I know that not to be the case.....which opens up a whole world of hair accessories that are so much prettier than my, already purchased, tiara!

    I may have a hair-thingy wobble moment!!!

Thanks for the rest of the comments, defo think a hair vine is the winner, now just to find one I like and one that's not too OTT.
