Hairdryer recommendations, please!

Storky, 7 December, 2012 at 16:06 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

Mine died earlier this year and I've been making do with a hairdryer/brush in one thingy. Unfortunately they no longer make the one I had otherwise I'd get the same one again. It was a Tresemme one (so probably relatively cheap) but had several temperature and speed settings, cool shot, 2000w and a long cord. Do any of you have one you could recommend, please? I'll be putting it on my Christmas list so ideally nothing too pricey. I'd much prefer to go for a recommendation than just pot luck google.

Thanks, mateys x

I got mine from a hairdresser wholesalers (my aunty was a hairdresser). It was about £20 15 years ago and is still going strong. It's not a brand name or anything so can't give you any information but might be worth looking at somewhere like that rather than the highstreet?

My hairdresser recommended WAHL as a brand. I've asked for one for Christmas. Think it was around £20 on Amazon.

    eta - It's this one

I am in the same position as my hairdryer is slowly dying as it's making a weird whining noise -last week it wouldn't turn off then this week it won't turn on!

I asked my hairdresser for a recommendation and he suggested the Wahl one as well. He uses one at work and he says they're great.

Hey, I'm a hairdresser and I always use Babyliss Pro PowerLite, it's amazing! Pretty lightweight, really powerful and dries your hair super quick, it's not expensive either, think I paid about £25 for it from the trade shop, but you can get it online, oh and plus I got it in bright pink! ?

Make sure you get Babyliss Pro though, all their Pro stuff is much better than their usual range!
