Hairdryer recs please

Holey, 8 November, 2013 at 09:12 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 13

My flipping hairdryer gave up on me this morning (can you guess how bad my hair is now) so please lovely otters recommend me yours!

I'll spend upto £25 quid. Normally I just go for the one with the highest wattage believing it will dry my hair quicker, anyone know if this is actually true?

I had a look on argos and they've got literally hundreds listed!

    I have this one.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Remington-D5020-Ionic-Ultra-Dryer/dp/B002C1AYAQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1383564742&sr=1-3&keywords=remington+hair+dryer

Its good. My hair is long and thick and normally takes about half an hour or more to dry - this gets its done in 20

I'd always go for a pro salon one rather than a highstreet brand. I got mine 15 years ago and it's only just showing signs of rattling.

The one I'll be getting next is the ETI Turbodryer.

Just to jump on the bandwagon mine gave up the ghost this morning too so I look terrible. I'll be watching this with interest. Oh also our coffee mahcine has broken too so I have mad hair and no caffeine!

Crikey, if my hair took that long to dry I'd shave it all off! My hair is really fine so it dries fairly quick - about 5 mins.

I've just got a pretty pink and purple Babyliss one. Not as good as others I've had.

I got this one the other weekend when mine stopped working.

Less than half price, dries quickly, seems really good.

I have this problem too. It’s why I’ve had so much chopped off. If I wash mine at night and tie it in a bobble, it will still be wet through not just the following day, but the morning after that too!

I've got a Babyliss Pro something. It isn't professional model, and will have come from Argos etc. but it's large and quite heavy with long 'nose' like professional ones. I got it when moving out of home at 18 and it's still going strong now. A couple of my friends bought one after using mine. If it breaks I'd be looking ot replace with a similar one!

I have this one too. Ilove it. My 0ld one always seemed to leave my hair very frizzy and this one does not seem to be any where near as bad. and as ROd said, it dries my hair very quickly. My hair is chin length and straight, it takes a max of 5 minutes but usually only 2 or 3.

I have quite a lot of hair but it's just really fine and doesn't stay put if I try and put it up nicely. Quite grateful that it dries well though after seeing hat you guys have said!
