Half up half down hair - flashes of the back?

I'm still waiting for my official pics to come through and have only one shot taken from the back in random pics. But as there's children in the photo too can't flash here out of respect to the parents.

Heres a pic from my hair trial (I preferred it all up at the back though). For inspiration I took a pic of Pippa Middleton at the royal wedding.

PS: my veil will sit just above the comb.

I don't have many of the back of my hair actually, these are the best ones. I hope they help!

This was from the trial. My hair was a lot longer so was more curly than on the actual day.

Literally had this done this afternoon by my bestie who is doing my hair & make up on the day. This was just a quick test to see if my hair would curl and stay for a reasonable length of time - top was back combed a bit but not too much.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I love them all and they've all gone in my hair scrapbook folder. For those whose hair wasn't kept up by visible combs/clasps/pins etc (such as RVS2B) what was your hair pinned up with? Just normal bobby pins? (This may be a stupid question but I know absolutely nothing about hair!)

Yep just bobby pins in mine (& quite a bit of hair spray), will also have this clip in too at the back (don't like veils or tiaras)
