Has anyone booked the Harte and Garter in Windsor?

Not for a wedding, but my parents used to live right opposite and been there a few times. It's recently been done out, and is lovely. Great spa too! I can't remember which magazine it's in, but there was a review of it as a venue in one of the bridal magazines about a year ago. If I can remember which one I'll let you know!

I can't find it anywhere! I've been trying to work out where it was, and it's probably in either Brides magazine or You and Your Wedding, sometime between Feb & July 2008. Hardly helpful, I know, but someone might have a copy lurking somewhere!

Parking in Windsor isn't too bad. Although there's little or no on-street parking in the town centre, there are a couple of multi-stories within easy walking distance. As for where to have photos taken, you're at the top of the long walk within 5 mins which is beautiful, or you can go down towards the river and Goswell Park. Or you can just step outside and have them in front of the castle ?
