Yes I picked mine a few weeks back and I loved it and now I am thinking, should I have tried more on, should I have waited! All sorts of rubbish thoughts but deep down I know it was the right dress for me!

Yes. I know i loved it when it was on a few weeks ago.

But in my head since i've imagined the colour as different. Its a slightly darker ivory but for some unknown reason i keep imagining its as a dusky oyster pink. Plus i'm worried it doesn't seem 'vintagey' enough to fit with a vintage type theme, but i think thats because whenever you google vintage weddings it comes up with lacy dresses. But then when i think about it (and i was watching the duchess the other night too which helped) they wore satin dresses all the time in the olden days!

Plus i found a fantastic photo shoot from our venue the other day which had lots of vintage themes to it so i'm happy because i was worried the vintage them wouldn't fit in with the venue.

I've been having mega wobbles so I keep looking at the picture of me in it and the chuffed look on my face says it all.

I think going back to the picture of you in it is the key - I found 'my dress' yesterday, and am going in again later on in the week to take measurements etc. However, overnight, I started having visions that it had changed colour and actually it wasn't that great etc etc - fingers crossed that when I go back again in the week, it will still be as good as I remember! x

Blossom 10 - you have a fab approach to your dress - it will be fine and you will have a fab day - not long now I see!

I all honesty I don't have any choice but to have this approach! I was soooooo distraught when I collected it as it was my DREAM dress and has been for years, since before I was engaged! I've finally come around to thinking I am about to marry the love of my life and i'd happily marry him wearing my pj's so if it doesn't quite look how i'd wanted - what the hell. This its more important that the marriage is right and not so much the wedding. The closer I am getting the more I am just wanting to be his wife, regardless of the day itself.

Sorry for being cheesy, starting to get a little emotional!! [:'(] ?

Blossom 10 you have bought tears to my eyes, and I'm not usually an emotional soul! I'm sure that you will look beautiful in any event, and as you quite rightly said, it's about marrying the love of your life - whether you do that in a £10,000 gown or in your jim jams! I'm having doubts about my dress (I think it's a little plain) and so I have thought that I may treat myself to some more glam jewellery to bling it up (I saved a good chunk of money on my dress) so I have something from my wedding day (apart from my rings of course) to wear again and again.

Good luck with the rest of your planning xxx

Are you the Vicar of Dibley? Smiley smile (meant in the nicest possible way of course. I love the Vicar of Dibley!)

You know I've thought this about other things we've booked but not my dress at all. Love my choice, now wobbles, no doubts, no drooling over others....nada.
