Has anyone tried Rosetta Stone?

Maxibon, 20 May, 2010 at 12:34 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

Ive got roughly 7 weeks of sitting around to do and I'm going to go crazy in the flat (I'm not allowed to go out & about too much)

So I have ordered a cross stitch kit that shoud arrive soon, and was thinking what else could I do? Jigsaws are pretty much out as we dont have a lot of free space in out little flat. I was thinking of a language (i know it will take more than 7 weeks!!)

Has anyone tried to do anything like this from home?

and does anyone have any other ideas?

...otherwise I fear that Hitched may ban me as I'm on it ALL DAY

I always see those language packs at the airport and wonder if they're any good. TBH I think I'd be better off going for adult ed. courses because if I've actually paid for something like a course I'll go, where as if it was a box at home...it'd soon be hidden in the cupboard!

Alternatively, you could bake lots of delicious cakes and I could try them all out for you Smiley smile

Jewellery making could be pretty fun and you might even be able to flog it and make a bit extra cash!
