Has anyone used liveweddingmusic.co.uk?

Nic78, 26 February, 2013 at 11:17 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi ladies

Has anyone used the above company to book their wedding entertainment? I would love to hear your feedback please. Our big day is fast approaching and we have booked a band for the evening, I am not 100% comfortable with the arrangement at the moment as there has been very little communication and so we are looking at last minute alternatives.

Thanks in advance

N

Do you have a contract??...you hopefully have if it is with an agency.

Give the agency a call direct and vent.... not good when you have to chase a supplier like that.

Agencies often have a three week call agreement but I get in contact way before that, as would most bands I would have thought.

    Hope it works out ok.

    Hi HappyBlue

I am happy to say that in the end everything worked out well. Despite what I viewed as insufficient communication the band turned up as planned (early infact) and played from 8:00pm to Midnight (with a break in the middle where they provided DJ music) and had everyone up on the dance floor.

As this was a few years ago, if you have any concerns then call the company or call the band direct and just have a chat to put your mind at rest. I honestly found that all the little things that I spent so many hours stressing over didn't even enter my mind on the day but anything you can do to alleviate concerns in the run then do it.

Hope it all works out for you, good luck

    Nic

Thank you both for replying and yes I do have a contract. I have just been worrying as I can't find any info about them online other than on their website! I started wondering if it was a real company! That's settled my mind now though knowing that the band did turn up for you. I haven't got a contact for the band, I think that's what has been worrying me as we have only had communication with the agency. I'm sure it will all be fine just wanted some reassurance. Thank you for the advice!
