Has the swine flu restricted flights to America?

Has anyone heard if there are any flight restrictions being put on people travelling from the UK to America?

My aunties, uncles along with cousins and small children are all flying out to Florida this weekend for a fortnight and my mum was asking if they should be going because of the swine flu. I said I had no idea, I hadn't heard of anything and my google skills are pretty crap lol.

Their best bet is probably to contact their airline or holiday company for their position.

Nope, there is no restrictions on travel to usa. We are off 2 weeks today to florida so i have been keeping myself up to date. Its unlikely that there will be travel restrictions put in place as they would need to put them in place for every country that has a case of swine flu. WHO have already said that travel restrictions wont work as its so widespread.

I think the reason they have advised agaist mexico is that mexicos health system is struggling, i think the usa will be fine!

Our travel agents phoned us this morning and i nearly died, but they only wanted to let us know their exchange rates!

My brother is currently at the airport waiting to board a plane to NYC, and there's been no restrictions at all.

I bloody hope not! I want to go home on Saturday!

Very much doubt it TBH .. restricting flights to the US would take more than a 'flu virus. From Mexico to the US would be first in any case.
