I searched for mini zips online - found nothing - then thought of baby clothes zips or dolly zips?

Could hot glue the zip? x

Im so glad someone else can see what I am aiming for, I was worried that no one would get it.

Didn't think of baby cloths they would be a perfect size, I'm going to see if I can get some and do a DIY trial run again and it's a great reason to get out the glue gun!

Both sides very cute but not sure on how well they gel as a whole - two very different styles/tones/colour palettes.

Also, not sure what you mean about the zip. Oh no, I do, I've just got it. Very nice!

Love the idea especially the zip very original. Would the inside be the very dark blue I just wonder if it would work being slightly lighter more in keeping with the front.

I was concerned about how they gel together but when you see the rest of the wedding they fit perfectly. We are having a day/night - star themed wedding with our reception being at the campsite we got engaged at.

The contrast of them has worried a few people, got them thinking what the weddings going to look like if they match the theme Im just hoping that they do match and it isn't to much of a contrast when everything's done and together.

I designed my own engagement party invites using Microsoft publisher - I will try and attach what I did.

I also downloaded some templates link again (If I get it right) will be below - happy to email you over direct if not?

Rosco it won't be very dark but will need to be reasonably dark to turn it into night time to match the evening half of our theme.

Could you make the front picture a day-to-night picture, as you move from left to right?

It sounds as though they fit quite well with your theme. Sorry I wasn't trying to be negative it's hard to know on just one flash. Do you have any others? I I'm very nosy about your wedding now it all sounds like it fits you as a couple.

You could use one of the templates to put in your text, pictures and colour - Print - (get the paper from ebay) - then add the material/zip to the front of the tent? x

Rosco not negative at all think it might be a good idea will have to look at that when we get them done.
Our whole wedding is centred around our engagement because it really represents us as a couple and I am quit soppy like that lol. We where camping out at Kielder watching the perseids meteor shower when we got engaged which is why we have chose the venues and theme we have, camping is our favourite thing to do as a couple.

We are having blue for most things e.g bridesmaid dresses, cake, table wear ect to represent the sky and diamantes to represent the stars and there will be a lot of day time aspects like trees and flowers and then when night comes we will have twinkley lights ect to make it look more evening. I don't have much to flash right now it's all ideas in my head and haven't got images for a lot of it.

Here's what I have pictures of so far:

Cake - but with diamantes instead of pearls and maybe a shade lighter




Idea for girls dresses - with some verity of flowy skirt





Cake topper idea - but more in line with the invites





And ceremony venue - Kielder Observatory





There isn't a good picture of my reception venue it's basically a field and we will be putting up a marquee. It's not much but I haven't got round to pictorlising (not sure that's a word hmm) all my ideas yet, there's just to many.
