Have we lost a lot of HIBs?

I used to love hitched, I was truly addicted to it! Now I just pop on every now and again to make sure I am not missing something!!

I think the difference for me is that I have been very busy and find that when I come on to hitched now that I know no-one and because I have followed people's stories that i don't know them well enough to comment.

I also find I get more work from other forums and I have never ever been on them to promote my business so I shall not be renewing my subscription when it comes up.

Hiya all to those who remember me! I'm another one who didn't renew my subscription due to various reasons, poor layout of the directory, not partic ularly brilliant customer service from Hitched and poor response from 5 years of advertising. I used to enjoy coming on for chats but , at the moment, it';s my manic season so just too busy! Hardly know anyone on here now apart from Sherrie! Hiyah Sherrie!

Totally agree Christine - 100%! I get far more business (and better service from other wedding directories than I did from Hitched. I was also addicted and enjoyed coming on to chat and give advice but, recently, it seems there are a certain number of Hitchers who enjoyed "jumping" on HIBs at the slightest opportunity and I think that's why a lot of us decided that we couldn't be bothered anymore.

I have read this thread with interest. I am a HIB who has been "jumped" on in the past when I have replied to a post so I tend not to do it as much anymore.

But like Mrs Snow Patroller asks, if anyone is happy to share the details of other forums where they have had more responses I would be grateful! ********@**********.***

Just got this from Dean @ Hitched ... so info for the North of the Border HIBs!

"We will get Scotland added to the dropdown menus. We've got it working on the test site so should go up at the end of this week. I do intend to split Scotland out into regions in the next couple of months. Keep the feedback coming, its always useful to hear. Regards Dean"
