Im happy with it so far but its not finished, i want to add more to it later on tonight before i finaly wrap the band in the wire adding the gems and pearls to cover the wrapped wire at the bottom (if this makes sense?!) iv never made anything like this before, Im used to making corsetery so this is alot different but fun! Honest oppinions welcome! Smiley smile xxx

I think it looks lovely and with some more beads/jewels around the base to cover the wire I think it will be fab, make sure you flash us again when it's finished and very well done!

I really like it! Well done you!!?

I'd never be able to do anything like that, i'd love to be able to make my own tiara (as i'd like one with butterflies on to match my theme) but i'd never be able to make it look as pretty and professional as that. I think i'll just stick to making my own stationary!

I think you have done a really good job, well done.

I like most bespoke tiara designers would be able to create you a design with butterflies no problem.

Well done you, firstly for having a go, and secondly its lovely. It will be more special to you aswell, and like you said if you dont like it when its done then nevermind Smiley smile

I made my own tiara for my wedding, i wanted it full of beads and it was roughly 4 inch's high in the middle, I wanted it quite old fashioned. I havent got a picture on the computer as i got married in 2004 but well done you Smiley smile

Have you wrapped it up in acid free tissue paper to prevent tarnishing? Just being nosey but what materials did you use? Can't tell from the picture if you used Swarovski Crystals and Pearls.

You obviously have unearthed a new skill! Looks great! Certainly better than a couple I ordered from so called 'tiara makers' on Ebay when I was first looking around for one!

and you'll feel so fab wearing something you made yourself! And a bargain at £25. Are you going to have a go at making your other jewellery items?

Mrs snow patroller.......im thinking about doing thin bands for my flower girls, just very simple tho. That wont be for a while yet though, iv got all my invitations to finish making first and then my corset to start, once iv lost a bit more weight! lol
