Having a slight panic - any tunnels beach brides (or guests) out there?

Hi all,

We are getting married at Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe on 17th March (and its coming around SOOOOOO quickly!!!!!), I absolutely LOVE the venue but I have started to have a mild panic about the evening reception - as it is quite a small room most of the tables used for dinner are removed to make way for a dance floor but obviously that means not everyone will have a seat for the evening.

I'm worried that our guests will find this strange and at worst not be happy about it and therefore not enjoy themselves (tbh I'm worrying about all sorts at the moment). Are there any previous tunnels brides on here or any one who has been to a wedding there who can tell me how the evening worked and if it was ok?

We're going to see the venue at the weekend and so I'm hoping they can put my mind at rest. fingers crossed!

No need to worry, for the evening reception there tends to be people either on the dance floor, stood at the bar or just generally milling about. You will lasso have a few smokers that keep wondering outside.

There are a lot of venues where i work that has a similar scenario. Its very rare that people are stood around looking for seats.

I think this is one of those things that you just don't need to panic about.
