Having serious jitters

kirstycat, 13 November, 2010 at 21:04 Posted on Planning 0 9

Just been looking at all the fab photos on the Hitched award threads - big mistake. Now having serious wobbles about everything - my dress, my venue, my cake, my flowers - eek!

OY. Stop it. OK? Stop it... now.

As one of the Award Hosts this year, the last thing we want to do is give anyone doubts! So... stop it. Wobbles schmobbles. Kick 'em to the kirb gurlfriend!!

    That is all.

Guess what? This time next year a new batch of brides-to-be will be looking at YOUR photos and having jitters coz they're jealous of YOUR fabulous wedding!

Aw try not to worry, just focus on the fact that you chose everything with your own fair hands because it is representative of you.

I am so in love with one of the bride's dresses on the dress flash, it's so lovely and suits her perfectly but it's not me at all, would look awful on me and I am sitting back happy that mine is me! Smiley smile

I don't know what's wrong with me. I keep torturing myself by looking at everyone else's flashes and thinking how much nicer things are than my choices. My OH has tried to reassure me by saying that our wedding will be perfect because the two of us will be there. But I just keep thinking I've rushed everything and haven't done enough research before making my choices.

I have to admit to doing the same thing.

I wonder if I've rushed into my choices, I didn't look around much for venues, dresses, photographers etc. I pretty much made decisions and went with them, now I see what other people have done and have chosen and I think ARRRRGGGGHHHH should I have given myself more time, looked at more things?

Dont worry. I was exactly the same last year. Now ive had my wedding i can say that my day was perfect and i wouldnt have changed a thing! Its just a phase you and a lot of other brides go through. Your OH is right. Your day will be perfect because it suited to you.

Have you seen what I have flashed today???!!!

    Its all about your day!!!

Just go with what you have chosen and enjoy every minute. I dont regret any of my choices cos that is what makes OUR WEDDING! And yours will be just as wonderful, and do you know why??? Because its yours and yours only xxxxxxxxxxxxx
