Headwear, now I know that i'm having my hair down (HIBs)

My hair is thick so could stand a comb etc. However I still wouldn't have been able to position it etc with my hairdresser it would have fallen out within a couple of hours. Thankfully it stayed in all day and all the evening. I'd have a word with whoever styles your hair normally and ask for their advice as to what your hair could stand.

I definitely need it on a band, there's no way a comb will stay in and TBH I think I would be more comfortable knowing it is firmly in place.. With a comb i'd be worrying ?

I dont work with feathers I'm afraid but do have a crystal and diamante fascinator style band which might be suitable. The design sits to the side on the head and it can be made on a gold band with diamantes and perhaps Golden Shadow crystals. Pearls could be incorporated if they will suit your dress better than crystals or even all diamantes.

? lisaloulou, i'll take a look, i'm pretty sure I want feathers of sorts though as my flowers and bridesmaid flowers have the occasional feather running through it.

How about something like this but set on a Gold or Silver Band:

I wore this in my hair, maybe a hib could make you something similar in a gold colour? Mine was on a headband and it felt really secure all day.

This isn't a good picture I'm afraid but just as a very basic idea as this uses ivory and gold feathers with ivory pearls and golden Swarovski crystals but all of my current designs can be adapted.

Or maybe an asymmetric tiara like this but incorporating diamontes and feathers

If you wanted to make sure the materials matched your dress I am happy to send samples of pearls/crystals if you wanted to use these as well as diamontes.

But if you change your mind and wanted to have something more unusual but sparkly I have quite a few asymmetric designs although they're not on the website at the mo (or I could design one for you as most of my work is one off creations). I am also working with a great textiles designer who makes beautiful silk flowers (more abstract than "real" and intricate leaves which I then built sparkly wirework around. I have a few feather bits on bands or there's a couple on combs that could certainly be adapted onto a band. All can be made in ivory and gold with pearls, crystals or diamante.
