Heathrow airport to Gatwick airport

Royalty, 18 August, 2008 at 12:35 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 6

We are flying to the maldives next year from Gatwick, we live in Durham.

I can't find any flights from either Newcastle or Durham tees valley airports that go to Gatwick at the times we need, but there are flights to Heathrow.

What would be the easiest/quickest way to get from Heathrow to Gatwick?

TIA

    Definitely the coach.

Although, Heathrow Express to Paddington, quick jump round to Victoria on the tube and then Gatwick Express shouldn't be more than an hour but would be much more expensive.

May be easiest to train? National Express East Coast direct into Kings Cross, then a v short walk to St Pancras onto the old Thameslink line.

We've used National Express Coach. Quick, convenient and not too expensive compared to train.

I always used the coach when living at Gatwick and working at Heathrow. Very easy and good price too.
