Sadly there are no funny stories today. He made me have a proper full on fishwife moment this morning, I had been up since 6.30 getting breakfast for the baybeh, ironing his uniform, signing all his letters, making sure he had his rugby kit etc. About 7.15 he shouted from the top of the stairs "mum, where are my school trousers?", I duly replied that they were downstairs.

He stomped down the stairs, snatched them from the table, then as he went up the stairs he said in a stroppy fashion "They're no good to me down here are they".

I'll let you guess what my response was......<seeeeeeethe>

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh cheeky little sod. He is right though, they were no good to him down there, you lazy cow. Why didnt you take them up the minute you had ironed them and lay them on his bed ready for after his shower (which you had turned on for him in advance to warm up the bathroom)

I reminded him of that little episode the other day, he was less than impressed ?

Yesterday morning he informed me that his input into which tiles we choose for the kitchen is more important than mine, since he's got to look at them and let his mates see them.

I am actually wondering how I haven't killed him yet, truly ?

? at the possibility of embarrassing kitchen tiles. if he wants input - make him grout with a tea spoon. that will make him sorry.

how can tiles be embarrassing? is he gay? are his mates gay? and if so, they should love flowery designs

Waaaaaaah, I should have picked bright yellow flowery ones just to embarrass him ?

I told him if he wanted to pay for the tiles he could pick them, he soon went back into surly teenager mode <hands in pocket, head down, grunts for answers>.

? i am actually looking forward to it. it must be so amusing (when they are not annoying) sometimes and so hard to keep a striaght face. anyway, i will be fine because you will have taught me everything i know. ?

i cant beleive a teenage boy gives a shyte about tiles though, seriously. that is hilarious.
