Hello

Hello everyone

I don't know if you will remember me, but I was on WL before I fell pregnant in Aug last year. I managed to lose 30lbs in 6 months through dieting and exercising myself. Luckily I only gained 16lbs during pregnancy and this had all disappeared when my wee man was 3 wks old. However, I have fallen back into the old trap of eating what I want and eating when I have nothing else to do, like if Samuel is sleeping and I am watching TV. I have now gained 4lbs. I have yet to return to exercising as I had an emergency section and things are still a little tender.

I want to continue losing weight and had thought about trying to do it the way I was before, but is this realistic now I have a baby? Will I have time to exercise as much? I have thought about joining slimming world or WW, but I didn't find they worked for me before.

Not sure what I am hoping to achieve posting this, but thought I would say Hi and that I may be posting again soon.

There are women who have lost weight so soon after having a baby, so I am sure it can be done if you are in the right frame of mind and have a good support network.

If you are breast feeding, either exclusively or mix fed you will need extra calories to allow for this, not sure how it works on the calories side, as I do WW so just know the pts allowance.

If you are sure you don't want to go with WW/SW, I would make sure you get the advice of a doc to make sure you are getting a healthy diet esp if you are breastfeeding
