Hi everyone!
Just signed up to Hitched and thought I would introduce myself!
My name is Sassy and my partner Nathan and I got engaged in February of this year but we haven't been in a position to start doing any planning until now!
We've been together for 2.5 years and met on Plenty of Fish and we moved in together in July and we're loving every minute as are our 3 kids! I have a 16 year old daughter from a previous relationship and Nathan has 2 daughters from a previous marriage so we've upgraded to a family of 5! 
Not done too much so far. We went to a wedding fayre last weekend just to nose around tbh and the ball has been rolling ever since! We went to view a venue yesterday and fell in love with it so we put down our deposit and set the date for August 4th 2013...a Sunday wedding!We chose Sunday because we will be having our reception in our local pub/restaurant as we're good friends with the owners and (understandably!) the hotel we're being married in reserve Fridays and Saturdays for the full day ceremony and reception bookings.
Currently in talks with a tog we met at the fayre, I'm new to this wedding planning malarky and have nooooo idea about anything. We won't be able to have a deposit for him until the new year so I'm emailing to see how we go about actually booking him and what deposit he'll need.
I know it's a long time ahead but I'm stupidly excited about the whole thing and would really like to share in my news and yours
