Hiya, I'm getting married in August too and have just started planning. We've booked the venue and our now looking for a photographer, what have u managed to do so far? I'm not sure what and when to do next as I don't want to do it all too soon lol. What's ur date?

Bee, we have got our venue as well and our photographer, but I have little else done yet. We are wanting to make a lot ourselves though, so there is a lot of planning going on at the moment. We are going to be the 31st. What about you ??

We're the 9th. We have a tight budget too and I'd love to have a go at making stuff but I'm not at all arty or creative and my bloke is even less so! So that may be a no-no. Would love to hear about what you and others are doing though for inspiration! What's your colour scheme? We're thinking dark purple and possibly yellow as our ceremony room is very yellow

We haven't quite decided yet between whether to go for a sage green colouring or an orange. It is a difficult choice as having done weddings for a few years as a florist I have seen loads of differnt ideas. I have had to give up flowers now due to problems with my hands, but will be doing our wedding. I am looking forward to making things though. I am only going to have one bridesmaid though and so I think her dress will be something from the high street. Everything else is very much in the air. I have found some great websites for bits though.
