Hello!

Hi, I'm newly engaged after accidentally proposing to my boyfriend, looking for all the help I can find with organising the wedding that needs to come next. I've been to a few weddings in a "professional" capacity, but this planning bit is new to me. Our first problem: too many people want to come! We both have huge families and the guest list for bf's niece's christening stood at over 100 with just his family alone, on top of that nearly every single person I work with has expressed an interest in attending. My day job involves some planning of events but I think this will just increase the pressure on me to plan, as bf says, the most kickass wedding ever. We decided on May/June 2014 as a rough time frame for now, I don't know if that's enough time but we'll see.

    Hello! Welcome to Hitched!

How do you propose accidentally?! (is curious!)

The world and his wife will want to come but it is up to you and H2B who you actually invite- you will grow a thick skin don't worry.

Maybe accidental is the wrong word for my proposal, we were on holiday and saw a couple having wedding photos taken, bf said to me that this would be us someday and started the wheels turning in my head. A few hours later we were watching the sun set and I made the spontaneous decision that I wanted us to be that couple now, not "some day" and before I could think about it any further I was proposing to him. Luckily for me he said yes although it did take him a while.
