Hello from a newbie

? Hello, I am normally on BT but have at least one and a half stone to lose and need some motivation / help / will power / advice / someone to watch over me / a really large miracle (this is my preferred option if anyone can help!). Just about to stop bf - sadly I don't seem to lose weight while breastfeeding unlike all my friends who seem to need a slice of cake a day to stop them falling down drains etc. After my last baby I had a personal trainer for 2 months and did ww and it worked for me. But finances are too tight for personal trainer or gym this time. I walk pretty much everywhere and eat a pretty healthy diet - I don't have any major things to cut out iyswim.

I have done ww in the past and it works for me - I find the public humiliation weigh in bit the most motivational - but my local meeting seems to have stopped and others in area are at bad times. Online lacks the public shame element which I need.

So I am looking for some recommendations - how does slimming world work? I am also sorely tempted by the whole lipobind / One week diet things - are they utter rubbish or worth it?

Thanks and sorry for all the questions!!!

    ?

Sadly the only thing that works is eating less and moving more, whether you use WW or SW or a diet of your own devising to achieve it.

I have found weightlossresources very helpful in the past, but someone posted a link to a similar site the other day that is <dramatic drumroll> free. Would def be worth a go for a few weeks to give you a sense of the calorie content of things. Is running an option for you?

As I feared then, there has not been a miraculous invention that will make me slim ?

I would rather start chopping off limbs than resort to running I'm afraid! For some reason regardless of fitness levels running kills me.

    Thanks for the link suggestions.
