Hi Pete and welcome - I'm also from Wakefield originally but now just down the road in Dewsbury. I recognise Waterton Park (or Walton Hall depending on how old you are LOL!) on your slideshow and is it Bolton Abbey? I seem to remember doing the stepping stones when I was a little girl and can't remember if it's Bolton or Fountains Abbey?

They are the stepping stones at bolton abbey RF, it was quite a nerve wracking affair, especially when there was an onlooker stood next to me filming it on his mobile, with commentary, willing one of them to slip so he could send it in to you've been framed! All turned out good in the end though!

I grew up in Mirfield but have moved to Horbury, so not far from Dewsbury.

Ha ha! - it was nerve racking at about 6 years old with my older brother daring me to jump across them so I can imagine how it would be in a bridal gown LOL! Wonderful shot though.
