The good news is that the summer is over - it's rain from here till June now. So your tan will fade, and you can top up with a spray.

Sunbeds will not help - if you have bits that don't normally see the sun they won't tan the same way as the rest of you. I have that problem with my watch - the skin underneath burns and the rest of my arm goes brown. So I'll have to wear a watch on my wedding day to cover the white stripe!

Go for the spray once your tan lines have faded.

WSS - watch out for this. The last time I tanned was May 2010 and I thought the tan had worn off - cue me going outside at the weekend with no straps only to find my old tan lines re-appearing!? Oops!

I've accepted fake tan is probably the way to go.

Don't dread your day over something silly,

Keep wearing strapless tops when out in the sun (if we get any more)

If by 3/4 weeks before the wedding either start using a tanning lotion like

Johnsons holiday sun / Dove tanning

or go get a spray tan then use something like the above to keep it "topped up"

I'd try this before hitting the sunbeds as they might just make them stand out more
