Help Choosing Canapes

Thanks Kara...Its REALLY hard. Every time i think ive chosen, i notice one of the other ones on there!! I just need someone to make the decision for me!!

Thats quite a hard choice, and making me hungry as I read it.

But I'd say -

Hot sausage & pepper skewers
Mini Yorkshire puddings with beef & horseradish (hot or cold)

Because almost everyone would enjoy those two, and I'd then probably add

Warm lemon marinated Chicken with mint & cucumber dip
Mini Brushetta with olives and tomato

Just because they sound like a nice contrast to the other two. The 5th one is a much harder choice, but I might be tempted by

Warm apricots wrapped in bacon

Just for fun.

Hmm....really difficult because there is so much to choose from!

Think I would have....

Hot sausage & pepper skewers

Cheese & Red Onion Mini Croissants

Mini Brushetta with olives and tomato

Mini Tartlets with savoury fillings

Vegetable platter

Do you have any veggies or people who can't eat particular things to cater for? If so, I'd pick at least 1 thing that ticks those boxes. What is your starter? Probably best avoid things that are too similar to that - I'm having a smoked salmon starter, so I limited the salmon on the canape menu.

I'd be tempted by:

Mini Yorkshire puddings with beef and horse radish

Chicken Satay Skewers

Parmesan Scones

Roasted Vegetable skewer (hopefully gluten/ dairy free and veggie)

Melon and Parma Ham (gluten/dairy free and non-veggie)

But I do see what you mean about choosing - I tried to balance meat types and vegetarian canapes, but there's lots of temptation there!

Miniature fruit salad

We're not having a sit down meal, jsut a big old buffet a bit later on in the evening. So have more freedom with the canapes.

Definitely something sweet then, four savoury and one sweet. Fruit salad for me, but I would eat any...

Seriously though, I think if you choose any of these things, your guests will be happy, there's a nice mix of some good classic canapés and unsual treats on there!

Think i might go for the mini eclairs with sweet fillings...then its a nice mix - they wont be eating for another 4 hours haha
