Hello ladies..
I'm engaged!! Yay!!......
Now I'm depressed......I have been looking for a venue for the last two months and nothing quite fits the bill. We can't afford expensive hotels and country houses but I don't want village halls either. We are a mixed cultured couple and want that reflected on our day............ we have friends who can do the catering and another who can do the cake.......just the way we want......besides it means more to us that we have these little personal touches from friends and family. My problem is I can't for the love of God find a nice venue that will allow me to use my own caterers...... I have got quotes of finest cuisine coming out of all possible holes in my body but none of then can do my african banquet......
I don't want to take out a mortgage to hire a venue........ I have a guest list of 130 max. I want the venue to be picturesque yet quirky..... nice garden/grounds for when it doesn't rain but enough to enjoy indoors if it does rain...... we haven't even set a date as we want to be flexible for the right venue.....
Am I asking for too much?........ Is this an impossible request?
