Help finding a venue

Hi All

We are looking to hold a garden reception where we can have marquees and bring in our own caterers etc. We don't want to do it through a hotel etc as we need to keep cost down and don't want to have to use approved suppliers. Does anyone know anywhere in the West Berkshire area that allows you to do this? Big ask I know!

    TBH, I have found its more expensive to do a marquee-you have the hire of the marquee, then the caterers and staff, cooking equipment, then the crockery, cutlery, table cloths, glass hire....you get my drift!! We're finding it really expensive, and a hell of a lot to organise. Just so you're aware!

    We hired a village hall that has a garden attached - there may be something like that in your area? Because its just a big hall, we are hiring in people for catering etc. They have their own bar, but all profits go to a local charity and prices are really reasonable.
