Glass of wine before and then relax and don't hold back. The more you put in to the shoot the better the resuts will be. No time for nerves..they will show in the images....

Em I love wine but cant drink it at 11am ha!! Also think we are going to her studio rather than on location. But I think the photos will be more interesting if we went 5 mins down the road from her studio to a beautiful park. Maybe I should suggest this in the morning?

Just to add, that I often say to couples to trust me and that I will ask them to do things that may not feel natural, although photographically will look very natural...the bend/twist/turn of parts of the body is very important to getting a relaxed looking image. Often couples tend to stiffen up(I am trying to be serious!??) and loosening them up for the photography is important.

Ask OH to give you a quick shoulder/neck massage before the shoot and then just concentrate on him if you find relaxing in front of the camera difficult....

Have a balst and please do post your experience of it and some images.....

    *Update*

We had our shoot, at the park behind the studio, it was great!!! She showed us how to stand etc and how different angles can be more flattering etc. And we had a laugh!!

Went back to the studio and she showed us the pics on the computer...... ahem, there were a few where I was like 'yuk get that off'!! But the rest were great! She is going to email me some asap and then I will post them up whoop whoop!!
