Help! Hairdresser has cancelled on me!

Yikes! Can't offer actual help, but try asking your other suppliers to recommend someone (tog should be a good source, your venue might know someone etc) All else fails, talk to your local salon?

Am in Colchester so Waltham Abbey may be a bit far!

You're not far from me! Have you tried Sadie Bareham, she is pricey but might be worth a shout or any of the salons in town like Hype, Toni and Guy, Benjamin Charles. I was going to have my hairdresser come to the house but decided to go to the salon to give me a break but mine is in Frinton so not logistically possible for you! I'll keep thinking and post on here for you if I think of anyone!

Have you put an status on Facebook? Might be worth trying this as someone is bound to know someone that can help.. or a friend, of a friend, of a friend type situation!

I live in Kettering, Northamptonshire and we have a FB page for selling stuff on and offering services. If you have similar for your area put a plea for help out, as there might be some local hairdressers that advertise on FB.

I know how you feel, mine cancelled on me the week before my trail about a month and a half before the wedding and it's nearly impossible to find someone else!! I don't know any round your area but have you got spotted on Facebook, I put a msg on there and got loads of feedback and just asking around work/friends etc and I managed to find someone in the end! X

I dont know if quite where she is based, but check out wedding hair and make up by zara on facebook.

Nooooooo!!!! What were her reasons for cancelling? If it's not justified then this is out of order! My driver has just cancelled on me with 6 weeks to go (I get a free car from work) and my pianist cancelled 2 weeks ago. So annoying, like we don't have enough stress?!?
