Help! Is there any underwear I can wear with this dress?!

Ajsmith89, 12 April, 2013 at 22:20 Posted on Planning 0 13

Hiya, I'm looking for a low backed corset/basque or even just a bra to wear under my dress. Any ideas? I can't seem to find anything that goes down low enough!

I had the same problem. My dress practically showed my bum crack. I had bra cups sewn into the front of mine. And just wore low rider knickers!

That dress is beautiful, who is it by?

Have you thought about a stick on bra, i use one with my backless dresses and there actually quite comfortable other than that have some padded cups sown in xx

Thank you, it's by sophia tolli. I love it Smiley laugh I've seen the stick on bras but weren't sure if they were any good, where did you get yours from? Failing that ill definitely ask about getting cups sewn in!

I actually bought mine off ebay because i needed pink ones to go under a pink chiffon top so you couldn't see them, i've worn them at least a dozen times now and they're still sticky. La Senza do some i think, even primark does them. Why don't you buy a cheap pair from primark/ebay and just try them out before your big day? Don't forget your dress will be tight across your bust so it will help them stay in place so if you try them try them under something similar, under loose clothing they do feel a bit funny but have never come off. Ps they also give good clevage because you can position them wherever you want and they pull together and fasten in the middle xx

I used to wear the La Senza stick on bras and they worked really well, but you know I tried one recently and they seem to have changed the adhesive and the bazoongas ended up out on the rampage! I was in a very smart London private members club and had no choice but to take it off in the ladies and hide it at the back of the sanitary bin! Gawd knows what the staff thought, and then I was smuggling peanuts for the rest of the night.

So to conclude, id get the cups sewn in!

Alternatively I bought a very low backed corset from flatteringme - you can get them on amazon, another bride recommended it to me. I bought the size the website suggested but I actually need the next size up I think.

The thing is that they dont stay sticking out in front, they take a trip round the side and hang out in my armpits, so you lose a lot of the effect! xxx

    ?

Maybe they don't work so well on the larger bust then, i'm only a C cup and no children so they kinda stay exactly where they are, i only use them for cleavage and to hide coldness lol xx
