**HELP** - I've lost my To Do List

soon-to-be-Mrs-King, 19 March, 2012 at 09:02 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi Ladies

Ok so i'm trying not to freak out here but i've lost my to do list. My computer got a virus and everything needed to be wiped which wasn't a problem because i backed everything up except my to do list. I can't find it saved anywhere and I can't find my hard copy. I'm trying to create a new one but I feel like there is loads that i've left off, I've got all the big things sorted just the little bits and finer details.

If I tell you what I've done so far can you please have a look at your own to do lists and tell me what i'm missing.

This is what i've already sorted.

- my dress & veil

- bm dresses

- mens suits

- cars

- TOG/VOG

- Cake

- Rings

- Venue

- Church

- my shoes

- DJ

- Day Invites sent

- flowers

- Chair Cover Hire

- Table runners

- Chair bows

- Vases for centre pieces

- favours

To Do List

- Tiara

- Hair & Makeup

- Stationery (menu cards, place cards, order of service)

- BM shoes

- Table Decs (mirrored plates, scatter crystals, candles)

- MOB outfit

- My Jewellery

- BM Jewellery

Thank you

x

    Guestbook/wishing tree

    Card/present box

    Groom present

    Bestman/usher presents

    Decide on menu?

I cant think of anything, but take a break from it for a few hours and take your mind off it, you'll probably find something just randomly pops into your head! hope you get it back!

All Ic an say is ? can't think of anything you might have forgotten, but I can imagine how you feel - I'd be lost without my lists!

How about starting at the very beginning of the day with you getting ready and think about all thethings that you need or need to happen at each stage - that might jog your memory?

Yeah - I was really concerned that I had forgotten something and the planning lists just seemed t confuse the issue - so I now have a master list of evrytiny thing that needs doing... and slowly crossing them off (possibly too slowly with 75 days to go!! eep!)

Thanks for all your help ladies, I took a couple of days and slowly things started popping into my head. I have also done what DarkMoomin suggested and gone through the day step by step. Starting to feel a bit better now xx

Oh I am glad! I'm sure you won't forget anything important. If anything the things you forget, if anything, will be the things that maybe you should have not done anyway (a bit like Coco Chanel said, put everything on and then take one thing off...) IYSWIM!
