Help needed please...

Hi Everyone,

I am sure that we are not the only people to have a small wedding breakfast and then a 'normal' evening do. I am just trying to work out timings for everything and failing miserably... Is anyone doing something similar and can share their ideas? We're getting married in church and then on to a hotel with around 20/30 guests for the wedding breakfast and then the evening is going to be at the same venue, just in a larger room with around 80 guests.

Help very much appreciated as H2B isn't much help! ?

    Hello P.S.? What time is your ceremony? You will need around 2 hours for the meal I think - are you having speeches? I'm sure I saw a post where teehee said evening guests should arrive at 7/7.30pm ish. Neph x

    We are having an afternoon to evening setup so I'm afraid I can't be of much help to you there...

    Hi PS

    I am getting married at 11am in church, then to the hotel we will go with the wed breakfast starting at 2pm, my coordinator said it will take about 21/2 to 3 hours so will finish at around 4.30- 5pm, evening do will start at 7pm.

    Hi PS, I don't know if this will help much but our venue gave us the following timetable as a template:

    1.00pm - 1.15pm groom meets with registrars

    1.15pm - 1.30pm bride meets with registrars

    1.30pm - 2.00pm ceremony

    2.00pm - 3.30pm reception drinks and photos

    3.30pm - 6.00pm wedding breakfast

    6.00pm - 7.00pm re-set and evening entertainment set-up

    7.00pm - 12.00am evening reception
