    Hiya,

I organised a hen party in Brum earlier on in the year. We took the hen to a Twenty20 cricket game on the Friday evening and then went for curry and beer! Not necessarily your stereotypical hen party though.

The following day we had a can can lesson organised by Pole Stars at a local hotel. Excellent fun and a nice activity for people to muck in and look silly together. We put together an afternoon tea at the apartments we stayed at. We then got dolled up in our 80's gear, went for tapas for dinner then off to Reflex for silly dancing and cocktails.

The people were incredibly friendly. We had a great time.

It depends on what you want - if you want a bit of cheese then head for Broad Street, A bit of chic then Apres or Mechu summer row. Is it just the night or a weekend? x

Hiya I live in Birmingham so have a some idea's

As claire_lou53 said if you want a cheesey night go to Broad Street, this is right in the city centre and has your usual Revolution, O'Neils etc. Be warned though that it is full of youngsters, Im 26 and I feel old up there. I havent been for a few years!

Brindley place, which is just off Broad Street is nice its amazing how close it is and how different a night out there can be. Theres a slug&lettuce and those types of pubs and a few restaurants.

Summer Row is cool aswell, Apres/Mechu are nice. Theres a really nice restaurant just around the corner from them called "The Vaults". Its modern british food, but it is amazing. You can hire a booth our depending on the number of people and it has a nice cocktail abr next door and it plays some cool music too.

Theres nice bars etc in The Arcadian Centre, which is just out of town a little bit (by the Hippodrome Theatre) and has some restaurants and bars, whcih are nice, this area is more of your 20something crowd.

Places to stay, depending ion the number you can rent an apartment just a short walk from the city centre - Arc Apartments these are quite reasonably priced.

Shopping wise, dont forget to check out the bullring...you'll be shopped out in no time!

Let me know if you go and I can recommend some other places to go...

    Have fun ?

Just reitterating what the other Brummy lasses have said and stick to Broad Street for cheesey but if you wanted it a little more "older" clientelle head for Arcadian/Summer Row.
