Help needed urgently - I get married in 4 day and ..

Four-Little-Monkeys, 8 August, 2010 at 16:53 Posted on Planning 0 4

..my bolero only arrived yestarday after being made for me and they have made it too small (was suppose to be size 28/30 but more like 22/24) and its white not ivory and they cant make another one in time for my wedding on Thursday [:'(]

Does anyone know where I can get a plus size (28/30) bolero/shrug in light ivory at short notice.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I really think as you only have four days to go your best bet is going to be a bridal or occasion wear shop.

I hope you find something ASAP and aren't too stressed out. If worst came to worst you would be able to find a nice pashmina easily enough but not sure it would give you the coverage you would be looking for.

I had the same bother, I hate my arms and didn't want a bolero as I knew I would probably get too hot and want to take it off so I decided on a dress with sleeves to disguise my bingo wings!

I'm sure I've seen stuff at Debenhams, they've got shrugs, organza pashminas etc.

I got a great wee shurg in Debanhams...but Im not sure what the biggest size is. Have tou thought about going for a pashmina maybe, and you could maybe fasten it together at the back with a broach or something like that? Or maybe get it made into a do-nut idea. Ask in the bridal shops about them actually. They sit like a shrug...and actually the dressmaker should be able to throw one together in a few days possibly!
