Help on how to address parents......

Burke 2 be, 6 July, 2009 at 11:57 Posted on Planning 0 3

I have just finished printing all my invites and didnt really think about it and i have wrote my mum and dad and the inlaws an invite but i have put

their names and not "mum and dad surname" and the same on MIL and FIL .

Do you think it would be silly to address them by their names or should i put "mum and dad surname" ?

Also on table plan ?

I would have put "mum & dad surname" or "mother and father of the GORGEOUS bride" and "mother of the HANDSOME groom", or something along those lines to give them a bit of a giggle ?

Hmmmm I think I would go with full names on the envelope but just Mum & Dad on the invite itself.
