Help please ...

emmamc01, 19 April, 2010 at 08:58 Posted on Planning 0 9

I have recently been diagnosed with Angina, and i already had Raynauds (which is only bad circulation) and i can cope with those and the meds they have put me on are really good so i am starting to feel better.

But my problem is my appearance. I seem to be looking more and more tired, pale and washed out and i have bags under my eyes and its really upsetting me as i dont want to look like this on my wedding day! I dont care about having to live with these conditions at the age of 31...but i do care about what i will look like in my photos!!! I wrongly assumed that my make up lady would work wonders and hide all this but after my trial on friday - although she did a great job i still didnt feel that i look my best!

What can i do or what products are out there that can help!!

Do you eat quite healthily? Eating plenty of fresh fruit and veg might help, maybe even a mulivitamin, if you are not getting enough nutrients. How about a bit of fake tan to make you look a bit less pale

Are your iron levels ok, cos it might be that your slightly anaemic, I would maybe go 2 my GP and ask what they think. Are you feeling tired and rundown with it as well?

a few tips - drink a LOT of water, keeps your skin hydrated. try and do some light exercise a couple of times a week (if you are able),

    Aww, I'm sorry hun.

Maybe try other make up artists, pop into your local debenhams and book an appointment with each of their make up counters so you can steal their ideas!

Vitamins should help. Hubby and I went to health clinic recently and we were 'diagnosed' with many things and sent off with a load of vitamins. Despite eating lots of fruit n veg; the minerals in the soils have changed so drastically over the last 50 years that the foods infact lacking what it should be giving us.... Its only day 3 but I'm taking kelp, sodium phosphate, iron phosphate, multivitamins and magnesium phosphate... wont bore ya with the details but they should straighten out the chemical imbalances in me.... it was the most amazing and interesting thing ive ever done. Better than any doctors 'script!

I'm quite pale skinned too, and I can recommend xen-tan, it doesn't make you orange and doesn't have that fake tan smell. I use the dark lotion which when i first got it thought it would make me look too dark, but its recommended for paler skins for a more natural colour x

I can highly recommend SuperQuest Multivitamin time release pills. I was recommended them by my acupuncturist as I was feeling tired and run down all the time for no particular reason.

They are brilliant - just take one every morning after breakkie. They are yeast and gluten free too so won't upset your tummy. You can get them at health shops (not Holland & Barretts but mainly individual health shops or herbalist shops)
