HELP! Reception Venue Ideas Needed in Rotherham, S.Yorks!

Hi all!

Im new to this so please forgive me if I seem a bit silly :/

I live in Rotherham and I'm looking for a decent place to hold my reception where I can have my own buffet and DJ for 280 people.

The venue obviously needs to be large but that doesn't come with a large price tag to match..!

Please, please, please can anyone help me...I'm struggling..

    Our friends that live in Rotherham got married at RIngwood hall hotel near CHesterfield a few years ago. They have 70 bedrooms there, but no idea how many they can cater for or what the fees are.

    They did have lovely grounds & a pergola where they actually held the ceremony in the garden. The food was great & staff really friendly. For such a large group, have you thought about googling Indian wedding venues as they will cater for larger groups.

    Hi there. I know loads of places that would make great venues but not sure about the doing your own buffet. Have you tried The Grange Golf Club? Also Pheonix at Brinsworth? Not really sure of anywhere else that let you do your own food. Try Fitzwilliam Arms on Barbot Hall as well. Sorry thats not really much help!!

    I've been to a reception there, & it was gorgeous. Modern contemporary hotel, great service, food & reasonable drinks costs. Not sure how much the bride & groom paid, but I think they do great deals. Also gets highest scores on tripadvisor
