Help - styling!

I'm normally good at this sort of thing, but I was all set to buy a lovely vintage lacy style dress this afternoon and had all of

the wedding styling planned out in my little head. It was this dress and I managed to strike a great deal on a sample...

But it looked awful on ?

Same shop offered me a great deal on a Pronovias sample which looks amazing on

My scheme is pink (haven't decided what shade of pink yet).

As the dress is more 'Hollywood siren glamour' than vintage, any suggestions for invites and decor to still keep the vintage theme without it looking stupid with the dress??

Could you maybe go for a 20s/Great Gatsby feel? That would look VERY Hollywood glamour. Vintage, but classy and elegant ? xx

I also thought 20s when I saw the dress (which is gorgeous by the way and the veil in the picture would add quite a bit of vintage glam with the lace too if you can find a similar one).

Just have to say- gorgeous!!

I wouldn't worry too much, you could go vintage, 20s, Hollywood glamour - it'll work I think. Not much help, I know! Stunning dress! Are you wearing a veil?
