    Initial thoughts are:

    Every child matters

    New FS/Primary Curriculum

    Work/life balance

How you dealt/would deal with: difficult parents, difficulties with collegues etc

What you've done as a co-ordinator (if you've been one)

How you would approach behaviour management

    Your philosophy of teaching

    You will be fine!

I think they are bound to ask something about how you would ensure the smooth transitition from F to KS1. Deffo something about the new EYFS. Involvement of parents and the wider school community (ie parent governers) in children's education.

The biggy I got caught with at my last job interview (I got the job thankfully though!) is...demonstrate a time where you misjudged a situation and had to reassess you thinking about it. They were basically asking me to say when I got a lesson wrong and how I rectified it.

    This might help as well

    Good luck!

I have a whole list of questions relating to teachers interviews - not all F/S directed though, I can send these to you if you like? PM if you want them.

Not much to add to above posts, EYFS will be a biggie, continuity betweek FS and KS1, links with other settings eg nursery.

I had an interview recently and was asked about AFL in FS as well as talking through a lesson I saw to be a sucess.

    God luck!

The last interviews I been involved in, we've started with the question talk about a lesson that has gone well and why.

Then WES really: the new EYFS; ECM; dealing with difficult parents/children/staff; use of assessment to inform planning; transition from EY to KS1

You'll be fine and the best of luck!!

Got nothing more to add to what others have said but wanted to say good luck. FS and KS1 are the best place to teach!
