Help! What do I put in my hair?!

KateSF, 14 April, 2012 at 20:02 Posted on Planning 0 10

Evening ladies,

Our wedding is now just 7 weeks away (yikes!) and I've got my hair and make up trial next weekend.

I'm going to curl my hair and have it half up and half down, but I don't know what to do to accessorise the hair. I don't want a tiara or a hairband... I was originally thinking of a flower, but I'm worried that it will look a bit odd with my dress, which is ivory with little vintagey sparkles/diamond detail on it.

Am now thinking about some sort or pearl/diamond hair comb to wear on one side of head. I've got dark blonde hair, so am worried that it may sort of get lost against the colour of my hair... any thoughts?

Is anyone else having such a thing? Any tips on where to get a classy (but not bank breaking) comb?

Thanks! xxx

    Hey Gemma 86.

Here is a link to my dress: http://www.bestbridalprices.com/white-one-wedding-dresses-style-3012-tirol-p-64783.html.

If you zoom in, you can see the sparkly things that I (tried) to describe... I'm thinking about getting some kind of comb that matches up with the sparkly detail under the bust... what do you think?

Dont worry about it getting lost in your blonde hair, I thought that and mine showed up just fine!

    Hi,

I love the detailing on your dress ❤️. I think these designs would compliment the detailing

This can also be on a comb

If you wanted a flower I've got these crystal elements which can be designed onto a comb

More elements available in here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.159736240708935.39924.138437779505448&type=3. x

A comb or pin may be the solution. I have a few pieces on my site. Feel free to have a nosey and email if there is anything I can help you with.

Here are some examples and the link to my website:

    Daisy hair comb

    Olivia hair comb

    Lucie hair comb

    Regards and best wishes,

    Rebecca

Hi, Don`t know if it is the type of thing you have in mind but if you look at www.weddingfascinator.co.uk I have some pretty vintage style hair accessories and the style calledClover is a clip barette with pearls and comes in pastel colours which would show in your hair yet not be too bright.

    Hope this is helpful

    Lynne
